Holiday Details: Wax Seals

It's all in the details. I found the perfect bow wax seals and more for those holiday Christmas cards! I have always loved wax seals for weddings and invitations but always had the hardest time finding something a pretty design. Bows are everywhere, so I decided to start looking for a cute bow seal. Isn’t it amazing that sometimes you jump down a rabbit hole and find the best goodies. As soon as I started searching for the bow seal, all the pretty holiday designs started coming out of the wood work. Say what you want about algorithms, but sometimes they are spot on. I’ve rounded up my favorites and a few kits with all the colors of wax you could possibly want.

Wax seals are usually left to weddings, but these holiday ones are so fun! I want to add some red twine and seal a package or two with these. They are just the prettiest and easiest craft to uplevel your holiday vibe. Oh, and the best part? I even found molds that create the PERFECT shape. If you have ever tried wax seals before, you know that the wax blob is so hard to make pretty. These little rings, in a variety of shapes, solve that problem. Now you can make consistent and uniform wax seals.

Another trick? Make the seal on a silicone sheet (like what you use for hot glue) and let cool. Then add a glue dot to the back and add to anything you want. Boom. How fun is that?
